The Hotel Waldstein is a small, cosy hotel occupying a historical building near to Prague Castle . Like many buildings in Prague this one has a long history with many adaptations of architectural style from its original Gothic. Today it is registered on the ‘Czech National Immovable Heritage List’.
The hotel is situated in one of the best and most central areas of Prague, the Lesser Quarter (Mala Strana) directly below Prague Castle next to the beautiful Waldstein Garden. Metro and trams to other parts of the city depart from the stop / station ‘Malostranska’, which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The journey from the airport to the hotel takes about 30 minutes.
All 33 rooms (18 in the neighbouring residence) and apartments have a private bathroom with shower or bath and WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities and a safe.
A buffet style breakfast only is served in the Renaissance cellar with its vaulted ceiling and well.
Reception is manned 24 hours and room service is also available 24 hours. Guests may purchase beverages and elementary toiletries at reception. Other services offered include: laundry service and non smoking rooms. Pets are welcome for a fee and parking is possible outside the hotel or in a nearby guarded car park.
