For many years this hotel was a Czech ‘pension’ or ‘guest house’. After undergoing complete refurbishment, it is now a stylish 3 star hotel that is well located for exploring the sights. The building was constructed in 1806 and is typical of the period. Its symmetrical proportions are similar to many of Prague’s Classical style buildings.
The Pav is very centrally located being close to the National Theatre (Narodni divadlo) and the famous Charles Square (Karlovo namesti). Wenceslas Square is about 10 minutes walk away. Very frequent tram and metro services may be found nearby at ‘Narodni Trida’ tram stop and metro station. From there you can reach any part of the city.
This hotel has 82 individual guest rooms. They all have a private bathroom with shower or bathtub and WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, IDD telephone, Wi-Fi Internet access and safety deposit boxes. 3 rooms are suitable for disabled visitors. Several rooms can accommodate extra beds making them suitable for families. Baby cots are available on request.
