hotel florenc is located in an up-and-coming area of prague and has recently (spring 2005) undergone refurbishment. it has an imposing green and white façade. the famous tv tower may be seen from some rooms. this is modest but clean and comfortable accommodation and will appeal to a wide range of visitors especially those on a budget.
the hotel is located to the north of the city close to the florenc metro station. tram services are also nearby on sokolovska street. there is easy access to the old town and the city centre.
there are 26 rooms in total, a mixture of single, double and triple occupancy. all have private bathrooms mostly with shower only, wc, satellite tv, radio, telephone, and refrigerator. the rooms are basic with white-washed walls and teak effect furniture.
there is a restaurant/ bar on the ground floor offering a czech buffet style breakfast (included in the price) and meals/ refreshments throughout the day.
access for the disabled is provided. there is a lift. guarded parking is offered free of charge nearby. currency exchange is offered at reception together with safe facilities. there is a conference room that caters for up to 16 people and is suitable for training courses and small informal gatherings etc.
