Welcome: A historical Burgher house situated in the centre of the city, close to Prague Castle. The first historical recording of the house date back to 1372, when the house belonged to the Mayor of "Hradcany" - the town district that surrounds the castle. After a complete reconstruction, the Golden Star House reopened its ancient gate in May 2001, a delicately restored and resplendent ancient structure.
Location: The hotel is located in the historical centre of the city straight on the "Royal Route" in close vicinity of the main entrance gate to Prague Castle (Hradcany). While it is easy to travel out of this are to other parts of Prague, you might just want to stay. There are excellent restaurants and shops in the area, very important historical sights, such as the castle and surrounding gardens, and the cobblestone lanes wind and twist for endless scenic strolling.
Rooms: The recently finished reconstruction preserved the original architectural elements and blended them carefully with luxury facilities of modern times. Luxurious rooms are equipped with period furniture. There is a bathroom with shower and WC, direct dial phone, satellite TV and safe box in the rooms.
