Welcome: The Tchaikovsky is a retreat back into time - a time of elegance and relaxation. The area around the hotel is where the famous composer Tchaikovsky once strolled, when he was in Prague, sometimes accompanied by his friend Dvorak. The hotel itself is newly opened, yet everything about it captures the spirit of the last century.

Location: The Tchaikovsky is just a short walk from Wenceslas Square, the main commercial district of Prague, where the National Museum gazes out over shops and restaurants. Two metro lines and many trams pass through the area.

Rooms: There are 19 double rooms, four of which have the option of an additional bed. Italian furniture evoke an age of elegance past. Private baths with bath/bidet and WC, safes. Colour sat TV, direct dial phones and minibars.

Restaurants: A Swedish-style buffet is served, but then hotel has no restaurant of its own. There are many good restaurants in the area.

Services: The hotel's reception desk is open 24 hours a day, and accepts all major credit cards.
