Welcome: The first recorded mention of this old Hotel Meteor Plaza goes back to 1307. Previous records were destroyed by fire. In those days it was known as the "White Lion" and served as an overnight resting place for travellers arriving too late to pass into Old Prague through the town gate, now known as the Powder Tower. Today the hotel Meteor Plaza is a modern hotel in a baroque building.

Location: The Hotel Meteor Plaza is located close to the city centre, at the commencement of the famous Royal Road leading through to the Old Town where some of the most beautiful sights in Prague can be found.
