Welcome: The Falkensteiner hotel in Prague was just opened in March, 2004 by the Falkensteiner, a family who run several small but very well-equipped hotels in Tyrol, Austria and Croatia. This is their first hotel in Prague, and a dream come true for the family. You are sure to enjoy you stay in this carefully restored building from the year 1860.

Location: A better location is hard to find - right next to Wenceslas Square. This are features some of the best shopping in the country, as well as fine restaurants and the National Museum. From Wenceslas Square it is possible to travel all over Prague, because it has 2 different Metro station (Mustek and Museum - both of which are transfer points) and many trams.

Rooms: The Falkensteiner offers a total of 109 rooms, with a total of 218 beds. All rooms have been tastefully decorated and are equipped with everything a guest might need for a comfortable stay, such as: satellite TV, minibar, a safety deposit box for storing valuables, a hairdryer and a PC connection. Rooms have individually controlled air conditioning.

Restaurants: The hotel has a cheery buffet breakfast room, a relaxing lobby bar and a restaurant which serves all meals - either traditional Czech cuisine, or international dishes.

Recreation: There is a brand new sauna and a steam bath for guests to relax in, and a well-equipped modern gym for a workout.

Services: Guests may park in the guarded parking lot at the hotel for a small fee. Hotel offers laundry and drycleaning service, room service from 6.30 - 23.00 and currency exchange.
