FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the best way to make a reservation?
If you have already chosen a hotel, filling out the fax order form and sending
it directly to us, is the quickest way. We will recommend another hotel if the one you request is
not available but will book it only on your approval. If you prefer to communicate with us first, send
us an e-mail including details of what you would like and we will send you an
offer to choose from. Don't forget dates, the number of people, hotel category and room type. When we
respond we will include in the offer the same fax order form.
How long will the process take?
We will respond to you within 24 hrs but in most cases it will be even sooner. We will check the availability of the hotel
you have requested then send you a confirmation voucher immediately after receiving your credit information.
Why do we ask you to fax an order form?
At the moment this is the safest way for you as transactions directly over the Internet are insecure. It is also the
best way for us as we require, by Czech law, your signature. How do I know the service I ordered will be
waiting for me on arrival in Prague?
Your booking will be listed in the hotel's registry under your name.
What happens if a problem comes up? We will keep in regular touch with you until we have completed the transaction
successfully. Group bookings take longer to prepare while individual bookings may go speedily. Hotel in Prague are
often fully booked and consequently the processing time will take as long as it takes to find a space which may mean a short delay.
In all cases we will let you know the situation and you will be able to contact us by phone at any time.
Can I receive a confirmation directly from the hotel? Yes but the transaction will be between you and the hotel and
you will unlikely be given the same low price. Prices directly from the hotel can range from 10% - 30% higher. As a
reservation service the hotel gives us cheaper rates and especially in the case of group bookings we can pool together many
bookings to provide competitive prices.

Most Czech people speak enough English to give you what you need and many speak it fluently. German
and Russian are commonly spoken and sometimes other languages. English is becoming recognized as the standard and Czechs are
learning it to keep up but they are still shy and will often only reluctantly reveal that they speak.
Are Czech taxis safe or are they, as I've heard, all sharks ? There are plenty of safe taxis but it pays to be
aware that they will take advantage of you and charge as much as they can. Try and set the price beforehand and don't fight if
the situation becomes threatening. We recommend AAA taxis which can be called at tel: 14014.
